On Friday, Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Co-operative Society Limited donated groceries to Brahmavar Snehalaya as the institution entered its second year of service. This gesture marked the organization's ongoing commitment to social welfare.
The Inspiration Behind the Donation: Fr. Valerian Mendonsa
Jeevan D'Souza, founder and managing director of Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Co-operative Society, presided over the event. He explained that the idea behind such social programs was inspired by Fr. Valerian Mendonsa, who motivated them during the inauguration of the organization. D'Souza emphasized that the credit for the social initiatives should be dedicated to Fr. Mendonsa's vision and teachings.
Celebrating Social Causes: Past and Present Initiatives
As part of their celebration, the society first organized an event with the special children at the Manas Punarvasati Kendra in Pambur. Later, they celebrated with the children at the Vincent Pallotti Convent in Udyavar before this gathering at Brahmavar Snehalaya. These events are part of their ongoing efforts to serve the community.
