Brahmavar: Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Cooperative Society Donates to Brahmavar Snehalaya

On Friday, Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Cooperative Society Limited donated groceries to Brahmavar Snehalaya as the institution entered its second year of service. This gesture marked the organization's ongoing commitment to social welfare.

The Inspiration Behind the Donation: Fr. Valerian Mendonsa

Jeevan D'Souza, founder and managing director of Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Cooperative Society, presided over the event. He explained that the idea behind such social programs was inspired by Fr. Valerian Mendonsa, who motivated them during the inauguration of the organization. D'Souza emphasized that the credit for the social initiatives should be dedicated to Fr. Mendonsa’s vision and teachings.

Celebrating Social Causes: Past and Present Initiatives

As part of their celebration, the society first organized an event with the special children at the Manas Punarvasati Kendra in Pambur. Later, they celebrated with the children at the Vincent Pallotti Convent in Udyavar before this gathering at Brahmavar Snehalaya. These events are part of their ongoing efforts to serve the community.

Ashwin Roach, Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart Church, Kolalagiri, and a Gram Panchayat member, reflected on the value of humility and the guidance of parents. He encouraged people to live lives based on love and respect for others rather than anger and stubbornness.
