On the occasion of its second anniversary, Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Cooperative Society Limited distributed groceries to the children at Manasa Special Children's School, Shirva Pambur. This event was part of the organization’s commitment to supporting social causes, especially for special children.

Jeevan D’Souza’s Tribute to Fr. Valerian Mendonsa


Jeevan D'Souza, the founder and managing director of Udupi Syndicate Credit Souharda Cooperative Society, presided over the event. During the program, he handed over the groceries to the President of Manasa School and spoke about the inspiration behind organizing such social programs. He credited Fr. Valerian Mendonsa for initiating the vision of social service and community welfare. D'Souza described the late Fr. Mendonsa as a guiding force for the organization and dedicated the event as a tribute to his memory. He expressed the irreplaceable loss of Fr. Mendonsa and emphasized that all the credit for the success of the program was owed to him.

Fr. Henry Mascarenhas’s Blessings:

The chief guest, Fr. Henry Mascarenhas, the principal priest of Holy Cross Temple in Pambur, congratulated the organization on completing its second year of social service. He wished the organization continued success in its future endeavors, recognizing its commitment to the community.

Support from Rotary Club Karwar and Social Workers:

Shailesh R. Haldipura, District Secretary of the Rotary District 3170, and social worker Steven Kulaso spoke at the event, commending the organization for its genuine concern for the welfare of special children. They expressed their admiration for the social programs initiated by the society and wished it further success in its efforts to help those in need.

Ashwin Roach’s Words of Wisdom:

Ashwin Roach, Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart Church, Kolalagiri, and a Gram Panchayat member, reflected on the value of humility and the guidance of parents. He encouraged people to live lives based on love and respect for others rather than anger and stubbornness.
